European Tyre Distributor is a family-owned wholesale exporter based in Strijen, Netherlands. Since 1992 we have supplied tire dealers, retread plants and fleet importers in over 60 countries with hand-graded European used tires – by the container, every week.
A Family Business Built on Tires, Trust and Time
European Tyre Distributor was founded in 1992 in Strijen, by a family of tire industry veterans who saw an opportunity: Europe was replacing tires earlier than the rest of the world, and millions of high-quality casings with significant remaining life were leaving the local market every year. Those tires, properly graded and shipped, could power tire dealers, retread plants and fleet operators on three continents.
Three decades later, we still operate as a family business. We still know our drivers, our graders and our buyers by name. We have grown from a single warehouse to a multi-site operation with dedicated programmes for passenger car, SUV / light truck, truck & bus radial and OTR & agricultural tires – but the principle has not changed. We buy directly from European collectors, hand-grade every tire, load containers ourselves and stand behind every Bill of Lading we sign.
Today, European Tyre Distributor ships 500+ containers per year to over 60 countries from Lagos to Lima, Mombasa to Manila. We are proud that the majority of our customers come back container after container – many for more than a decade.
